Big delights do come in small packages, this holds true at least in the case of this tiny lil coffee shop. Almost hidden amidst the tiny by-lanes of Kala Ghoda, you will definitely miss this place if you are not looking closely.
My visit to this place was long due and well worth the wait. We were lucky enough to find a spot as we decided to visit this place on a Saturday evening during the Kala Ghoda Festival. We tried out their waffles, both Honey and Fruits and the one with Dark Belgian Chocolate sauce. Both were quite good, the dark chocolate sauce was to die for but I would still prefer the honey and fruits option. The only con being some of the fruits didn’t go well with the dish.
The service here was good and the ambiance was simple yet elegant. A must visit place for all coffee and dessert lovers.
Another good thing about this place is that they didn’t have a menu card which was the size of thesaurus like many Indian restaurants do. A small and well planned menu does reduce confusion and improve the dining experience.
Pros : Good food, good service and pleasant ambiance.
Cons : The choice fruits served with the waffles could have been better, papaya and honey didn’t go well together. Also the food could be a little heavy on your wallet.
P.s : In the evenings with dim lighting, the sofa on the top feels no less than heaven.
Location : Rope walk lane, Kala Ghoda, Fort.
Cuisine : Cafe food.
Cost for 2 : Rs 700 (approx)
