Theobroma, Fort

“The Food of the Gods” as the Greek name and tagline rightly suggests, the food here is just heavenly.

An amazing place right from the moment you enter. Absolutely loved their color scheme and ambiance, full marks for that. As you walk in, the food kept on display looks tempting enough to make u skip your healthy diet. I have always loved their brownies and cakes, red velvet being my favorite. So this time around i decided to try out their breakfast menu. Eggs Kejriwal seemed interesting so i decided to give it a go. It was two fried eggs served sunny side up over two buns loaded with cheesy goodness. The service was quick but seemed to be more interested in catering to foreigners and other seemingly affluent customers rather than a group of college students.

The desserts here is as amazing as it is in other outlets, I tried out my all time favorite Red Velvet Cake and New York Style Cheesecake. Both of which are to die for. I highly recommend trying out their Red Velvet Cake.

Pros : Ambiance, amazing food, dessert lover’s paradise.

Cons : Service seemed a little rude, a little heavy on the wallet, the portions seemed rather smaller than usual.

P.s : Must visit place for dessert lovers.

Global Fusion, Saki Naka

As of today, Global Fusion does rank as one of my most favorite places to eat in this city.

The moment you enter, you feel like you have entered a whole new world in itself. Right from the staircases that lead to the restaurant, its a magical experience.

The Ambiance here is simple amazing and puts you in the mood to eat, dim lights, plants, fishes, tempting food on display and good vibes and aromas in the air, it doesn’t get better than this.

The Service to is absolutely spot on, the waiters were patient with us and spontaneously answered our queries and guided us.

And finally the food, it makes you feel like a kid in a candy shop, you don’t know where to start and you dunno how to end. Amazing variety of dishes and absolutely fresh and flavorful.

Pros : Food, Ambiance, Service.

Cons : The vegetarian food could have been better, a little expensive but worth every rupee.
P.s : The costs may have doubled in the past two years but the experience is still simply amazing. Absolutely worth a visit, Strongly recommended.

Cafe Mondegar, Colaba

What makes this place so nostalgic? Is it the murals by Mario Miranda? or the Vintage Jukebox in the dining area? or is the location? Whatever it is, its worth a visit!

DCIM100GOPRO

So, take a trip down memory lane, by far the most amazing ambiance for a cafe in Mumbai. This place fills you with nostalgia as soon as you enter or even if you just pass by it. Those drawings on the walls and the jukebox just fills you up with happiness. The service here too is amazing and very polite. You are greeted at the entrance itself and makes the whole experience even more heart warming. The food here is good and a bit on the expensive side. A great place to hang out.

Pros : Nostalgia, happiness, good food and service

Cons : All that nostalgia does come at a cost, however its totally worth it.

P.s : The best place for Breakfast, Brunch, Beer and Bombay! Salaam Bombay!
